Australia
Calendar year:  1997
One TAP-3 aircraft, an ex-US Navy P-3B Orion that was modified for Pilot training, was delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force in August 1997. The TAP-3 aircraft do not meet the criteria for combat aircraft, as they are for training only, and do not have a weapon launch capability ( this capability has been removed). Differences in accounting procedures and definition of transfer dates may create discrepancies with figures from exporter states.
